Threatening Skies over the Falls
This is one of those images that I was a little unsure about posting as I had a challenge getting the color and white balance handled with the bright sunshine to the right and the blue threatening skies in the storm moving in from the left and was never completely happy with it being done. It certainly wasn’t a planned photo and was one of those moments that the skies over the Niagara Falls were spectacular and I knew would last only a couple of minutes until the storms completely engulfed the scene. This photo was taken from my hotel room at the Marriott Hotel overlooking the Falls with my Sony A7RIII and the 16-35mm F4 lens at 23mm. As an alternative, I processed the scene in black and white also. Let me know you think.
