Windswept Lake Michigan Shore

Windswept-Lake-Michigan-ShoreWindswept-Lake-Michigan-ShoreWindswept-Lake-Michigan-Shore A few weeks ago on a Northwest Michigan Photo Workshop sponsored by The Camera Shop of Muskegon we made a brief stop at the Bass Lake Outlet at Lake Michigan near Pentwater, Michigan. I captured a number of images at that location, but the one that intrigued me the most was this shot looking north along the shore of Lake Michigan. I first processed the photo in color, which never fully captured the feel of the scene with high winds coming off the lake laying down the long grasses along the shore. I decided today to go the black and white route in an effort remove some of the distractions of color and cause the wind blown grasses to stand out more in the image. I was looking for a feel that was almost as if someone was doing a pencil drawing of this scene. This conversion was done in Luminar 2018. I would be interested in your comments as to what you think about the end result.
