Skies over Pere Marquette ParkWhile I do enjoy post processing images to bring out the best in them, sometimes it is nice to show a scene with an image straight out of the camera. You may have seen my previous image from Pere Marquette Park in Muskegon, Michigan which was shot with at a full frame equivalent of 420mm. The orange and purple hues backlighting the light were quite spectacular. I wanted a perspective of the whole landscape we were experiencing and grabbed a couple of ultra wide images to show just how bright the skies were beneath that heavy cloud cover. The only thing done to this photo was to crop it to a 16×9 perspective and apply the Camera Vivid Profile to the raw file with no image adjustments. This definitely is one image that will probably be better viewed on a large computer screen.
